I grew up in this part of Missouri and spent more than twenty-five years in sales, estimating, and operations — owning shops, running technicians, and sitting with people after something expensive had already happened. The work was physical and the relationships were local. That is still how I prefer to do business.

In October 2018 a motorcycle accident ended the ladder-and-attic version of that career. Nine broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a long stretch of surgeries will reorganize a person. What I would not accept was leaving families in the same position I had seen too often: uninsured, underinsured, or holding a policy they did not understand.

I am a Missouri-licensed life, health, and annuities producer. I am finishing a bachelor’s degree in business management and finance at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. The classroom is the theory. The last twenty-five years is the practice.

Tracy is joining the practice and working toward her Missouri insurance license. Until that license is issued, I am the producer on every conversation that becomes a policy.
